In the past few years there has been a flurry of down-tempo chill-out compilation releases that followed the amazing international success of Paris (read: the original) Buddha Bar owner/dj Claude Challe's self-titled series.

Having carved his claim to the genre of the so called ‘Asian Underground,' DJ Pathaan has come a long way during his journey through the incessant world of music. In his own words, he explains there came a point where he felt he could not simply carry on playing Asian beats all night long. It bored him after two and a half years, and this enabled him to continue his growth as an artist and explore all the elements available.
