1pm-2.50pm: Bobby and Nihal
Radio 1’s Bobby and Nihal will be hyping up the crowds and spinning the tracks that define the ‘British Asian Urban Nation’. Listen to their show on Radio 1 for London Mela music on Wednesdays at 9pm, and win a chance to DJ on the Flavas stage at the peak time of 5pm-6pm.

3pm-3.30pm: Sonne Rele
Born into a home that was infused with music, Sonne Rele began singing and playing at five years of age. Now a 20 year old, Sonne calls her music 'alternative soul' - a description which does not even begin to illustrate the consciousness that courses through her music. 'The message that I try to convey (through song) is a deep personal narrative, whether it be serious or light', she says.

3.40pm-4pm: Tabla Blah Blah
Tabla Blah Blah is the second installment in a trilogy of new commissions influenced by iconic images (the first was In the Dhol Drums). This new piece features live performance, soundscapes and video-visuals, and is a collaboration between DJ and broadcaster Bobby Friction and leading tabla expert Pandit Sharda Sahai.

4.20pm-4.50pm: Jag
The release of a cover of the Gap Band classic ‘Someday’, which features Jag and the legendary vocalist and Bollywood actor Shankar Mahadeven, took the Indian sub-continent by storm, selling over 250,000 copies. Since then, the British public has had a chance to sample the soulful, dynamic voice of Jag and he has continued to build a great reputation for himself, supporting artists such as Joe, Kelly Price, Donnell Jones and Truth Hurts.

5pm-5.40pm: DJ competition winners
The two winners of Radio 1's Bobby and Nihal's DJ competition spin their records.

5.50pm-6.50pm: The Kray Twinz
Two identical characters that not only look alike but also think alike, with musical minds that are highly innovative, inspiring and exciting - this is the phenomenon of the Kray Twinz. UK born producers, the Twinz dedicated much time and effort to perfecting new beats and breaks. Their skills can transform any concept or piece of music into a heady fusion of cultures, emotion, and beats to create the next big phenomenon in mainstream music.

7pm-8pm: Rishi Rich Project
Rishi Rich, the UK Asian super producer, shot to fame through his innovative fusion of Asian and urban sounds. Rishi is now one of the leading lights on the UK music scene and is well established through his previous work producing and remixing the likes of Mary J Blige, Britney Spears, Misteeq and Craig David. He has created a unique sound that brings together traditional Indian sounds and hip-hop infused beats. The eagerly anticipated debut album ‘The Project’ is out now on 2Point9 Records.
