flyingbuttressessThe best of British street theatre featuring Bombay Baja, The Flying Buttresses, and, back by popular demand, the 2005 success, the extra tall Mayor and Councillor of Gunnersbury Park.
3pm-3.45pm, 6pm-6.45pm, 7.30pm-7.45pm: The Mayor and Mayoress of Londinium
The Mela welcomes back our guests of honour with civic pride. The Mayor and Mayoress will be welcoming guests and local residents and they promised to make change. They are ever so nice, ever so charming and slightly over the top.

4pm-4.30pm, 6pm-6.30pm, 7.30pm-7.45pm (parade): Bombay Baja
Bombay Baja is the UK's leading Indian brass band and specialise in performing at festivals and street processions. Their unique style combines powerful Indian melodies with the rhythms of the dhol drum. Bombay Baja are guaranteed to create a fantastic carnival atmosphere.

4pm-5pm, 7.30pm-7.45pm (parade): Tiger Out East
Watch out for the tiger roaring. However, this is no ordinary tiger - it is six metres long by three metres high, has a sound system and platform for performances that includes Bengali folkloric music, storytelling, dance and DJs.

5.30pm-6.15pm, 7.30pm-7.45pm (parade): Flying Buttresses
Flying Buttresses deliver performances that are as beautiful as they are funny, and capture the hearts of audiences far and wide. The hugely popular Hodman Dodmanott and Sally Forth present an enchanting, interactive puppetry walkabout featuring an elderly couple of miniature proportions, with huge personalities and a not-so-firm grip on the ways of modern living.
