Aesh
Aesh is a newcomer into the World of Music Sphere. A Wonder Full carpet-flight with Drum & Bassy Qawalli Beats blended with the captivating magical sounds of India. Live laptop-mixing and energising improvisations makes a live concert a mesmerising experience.

Dr Das
Bassist and producer Dr Das was one of the founder members of ADF which emerged out of music workshops he was running in London back in 1993. He retired from ADF at the end of March 2006 to to return to his exploration of dub related and experimental world music and to engage in new collaborations. more »

"Dreams are sprouting like foliage that forces its way through me and draws lotus flowers out of my head.
Dancer Claire Elise improvises to my poetry. Our new show, Sea Suite: Ultraviolet, featuring Indian jazz vocalist Sandhya Sanjana, premiered at the Poetry Cafe May 24, 8pm. We're currently recording a demo version. Recent collaborations include a show with clarinettist Arun Ghosh for Compilation project run by Spread the Word and writing poetry for Niraj Chag's composition for Shamaa dance company (kathak). more »
Notecrusher
Notecrusher is Boston based producer/DJ/percussionist Chance Kunga. Trained in European classical and jazz theory, and veteran of a slew of bands that spanned rock, punk, soul, funk, reggae, and experimental stylings, Chance began producing MIDI-based electronic dance music on an Atari 1040ST computer in 1987. By the end of the 90’s, UK breakbeat in general and the Asian Underground scene in particular inspired Chance to give up playing drums in bands to focus his musical energies completely on computer-based production as Notecrusher. more »
Prithpal
Multi-talented musician, percussionist, composer and producer. Prithpal is a classically trained tabla virtuoso of the highest order. His production skills came to everyone’s attention with FLIP THE SKRIPT (BBC Asian Network’s track of the week) and CASTE SYSTEM.
On stage Prithpal is a daring adrenaline charged performer, teasing and pleasing the audience with his awe inspiring alter ego and his percussive genius which encapsulates a totally different level of complexity and dexterity. more »
Sonny Ji
Sonny Ji has been DJ'ing for the last 9 years. In that time he held a 5 year residency with asian underground clubnight SHAANTI, Birmingham - (Nov 00 - Mar 05) where he introduced his own brand of Bhangra House - (3 deck mixing) - House beats mixed with asian strings. Looped, Cut & EQ'd to maximum effect creating a live mix feel. This has now become his trademark sound. Along with this style he's a fan of cross genre mixing, taking in such sounds as Balkan, Bhangra, House, Breaks, D&B - always armed to deliver on the dancefloor. more »
